We love business.

We look forward to loving yours.

The team at Quill River love working with business owners. Listening to your stories of how you got into business and the success you have had along the way inspires us to continue your legacies.

The team has run businesses all around the world, experiencing and working with numerous different cultures and personalities. This world experience prepares us for almost any situation that we are faced with here in New Zealand.

Our focus in all business transactions is on you, the seller. Learning your story and the reasons for selling are the most important aspects of us being able to work together. The process of selling a business, especially if its your life time of work, can be very stressful. At Quill River we focus on you, and making sure that you have the best experience possible throughout the process.

We have a treasure trove of various business strategies that we can implement, all designed to make your experience stress free.

Business acquisition

We care about you, and want to understand more about your needs as we explore the business acquisition process.

Step one

The first step for any acquisition begins with getting to know you better. Face to face meetings generally over a coffee is the first step in our process.

Step three

Data gathering. We look at the numbers in detail in order to get a feel for the health of the business and understand more about how the business operates over a multi-year period.

step five

Deal creation. Together we go through all of the strategies and make sure that ensure that all parties are happy with the deal before it goes to the legal team.

Step Two

Information gathering. We want to know your understanding of how the business operates, its pain points and where we can implement growth and expansion strategies.

step four

Strategy creation. After we understand your needs, your business needs and how we can grow the business, we put together strategies that ensure all parties are looked after.

step six

Deal sign off. The lawyers and accountants have finished their work and we celebrate handover day with a bottle of fine wine. Critically, you are just as happy with the outcome as we are.
